About April
Hey, April here --I'm glad you've stopped by.

You've come to the right place if you're looking to hire a qualified and quality content writer.

My work has garnered national and regional recognition. In 2025, Netflix featured my reporting on its television docuseries American Murder: Gabby Petito.

I've also earned accolades from the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) for my reports on drought's impact to Utah's wildlife, and the community contention caused by the presence of pride flags in schools.

I currently contribute to BostonMan magazine (see 'Portfolio' tab).

Prior to that, I spent 13 years moving my hefty sofa bed across the country to pursue news anchoring and reporting jobs in Massachusetts, South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, and Utah.

Most recently, I worked as a freelance general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for WFXT, Boston 25 News.

I can't wait to collaborate!

My philosophy on writing:

I see every sentence as an imitable work of art that is shaped by the harmonization of words, pacing, and tone.

This unostentatious art form holds the potential to heal and inspire others to act selflessly for the greater good of humanity.

Television News Personality
